I grew up reading choose your own adventure books. I saved worlds by slaying dragons. I navigated treacherous mountains all in search of the princess. I picked door number three and won a million dollars, which I used to buy a lot of shoes.
What couldn’t I do in these books? Make out with a girl. Fail a class because the professor was so hot and distracting. Get drunk and get my tongue pierced. But, now you can!
This blog is about choosing which direction your heart will go in. This is about choosing to date the brunette instead of the blonde. This is about feeling more comfortable with the shy boy in the corner or the girl cutting a rug on the dance floor.
Being gay, being straight, being bi: It’s not a choice. But, here oh-so-many other things are. Here, you choose what you want to do … and, occasionally, who.
Choose how you travel along the road of life: starting as a freshman in college, you will vote on the twists and turns in the story. You might wind up with a 4.0 grade point average; you might spend some time with a hot boy from the neighboring college; or, you might spend a night (or two) with the girl down the hall. It’s up to you. Choose wisely!
